Aug. 22nd, 2007 05:20 pmThe telephone code for Cardiff is 029 followed by an 8-digit number beginning 20. 02920 is not the code. This is demonstrated that to dial numbers within Cardiff one needs to use the 8 digit number beginning 20.
Similarly, the code for London is 020, with the old 0171 numbers having an 8-digit number beginning 7 and the old 0181 numbers having an 8-digit number beginning 8.
How complicated can this be?
