Baptizatus Sum!

yrieithydd27 years ago today I was baptised. I give thanks for this great gift which I received as a baby. God is at work in us even before we are aware of him. As I wrote in December, my baptism was a key part of my journey of faith even though I have no conscious memory of it. I love though being asperged in memory of it or signing myself with water from the stoup at an entrance to a church in memory of it. I went to the Cathedral today for Mass in remembrance of my baptism and gave thanks for the physicality of our faith but missed the presence of stoup!
