In Cardiff North (held by Labour), Catherine Taylor-Dawson of Vote for Yourself Rainbow Dream Ticket wins just one vote - although she also stood in the three other Cardiff seats where she had more success (37 in Central, 79 in South, and 167 in West).
I wonder who the one was. It wasn't me! I was one of the 1936 people who voted for Plaid Cymru! The Tories were worrying close behind Labour, who have a majority 1146.
Ceredigion went LibDem unfortunately. I remember they were hoping for that last time. My flatmate was a member and thought I was very odd for supporting Plaid. I blame the bloody English students. So many English people do not understand Celtic nationalism and think it dreadful (and right wing) when in fact it's Socialist and all it's doing is asserting our right to rule ourselves. It's not about saying 'we're the best' but about saying 'we're as good as you and can and should rule ourselves'. Plaid is pretty much the opposite of UKIP (who want to leave Europe and end devolution).
