I'm sure we've all seen doors which are alarmed, but this one is lonely too! Poor thing. It needs friends to help it calm down obviously.

Thanks to the discussion on this post of Marnanel's has caused me to spend the afternoon laughing out loud at the lol that people use instead of Welsh in signs at Sgymraeg.

Does unig mean lonely, then? How would you have said "only"-- allanfa dân yn unig?

Yn unig is correct in this context yes.

Unig is interesting as unig blentyn means 'an only child' whereas plentyn unig is 'a lonely child'. That's as an adjective. I think here 'only' is an adverb which is why it is yn unig

OH! It's one of those adjectives like hen which go before the noun, except in this case?

It's one of a group (another is hoff) where the meaning is different when it precedes the noun from when it follows the noun.
